Returns for Leukemia and Bikes & Beers

Dust off your bikes because it’s time for the WindsorEats annual Bikes & Beer Returns for Leukemia Cycling Tour! WindsorEats is hosting their annual Bikes & Beer Returns for Leukemia Cycling Tour on May 16, 2015 with stops at local breweries and pubs in Windsor.

Returns for Leukemia Bottle Drive is part of a month long effort to raise money for Returns for Leukemia, a fundraiser held each May by United Food & Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 12R24 in partnership with The Beer Store to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). The Bottle Drive takes place May 23 & 24, 2015. Customers are invited to donate all or a portion of their empty bottles (or cash), with proceeds going to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Participants are encouraged to bring along their empties on the day of the ride to donate to the Returns For Leukemia Bottle Drive.

“We’re very excited that this fundraiser has become an annual tradition,” says Adriano Ciotoli, co-owner of WindsorEats. “It provides people the opportunity to give to a great cause all while having a good time.” The Bikes & Beers Cycling Tour includes a guide, beer tastings at local breweries and appetizers.

Tickets are $60 each with proceeds going to Returns for Leukemia and can be purchased at Please note, tickets sales end two days prior to the event day.
