Canada Day is approaching, and what kind of Canadian museum would we be if we didn’t throw a party? This Canada Day, The Museum of Naval History will be dressing HMCS OJIBWA in red and white – a colorful and festive addition to her usually pure black exterior.
Decorations are only the beginning of OJIBWA’s celebration plans. The free event kicks off at 11:00 am with fun for young and young at heart including bean bag games, Frizz B Football, minute games, trivia, book sales, music, prize draws, and more. Scheduled throughout the day, visitors can take part in “Hands-on History” by participating in musket drills, WWII convoys or the perilous aftermath of the sinking of a war ship.
