Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport Seeking Stakeholder Input at May 5th Session in London

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport (MTCS) is developing a Strategic Framework for Tourism in Ontario. In support of the framework, facilitated focus sessions on tourism are being held in communities across Ontario. Tourism stakeholders are being invited to attend one of the sessions and share their views about how to grow tourism in Ontario. Click here for more information on the sessions.

Sarnia RiverWalk 24/7/365 Project


Riverwalk 24/7/365 is a proposed project to celebrate Sarnia’s unique place and historic role in building Canada as part of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation in 2017. This is a place that everyone can
enjoy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, without admission.


The proposal gives meaning to the existing waterfront trail along Sarnia Bay to create an intimate experience with maritime activities on the river – a location currently only possible at the Bluewater Bridge in Point Edward.

Tourism London & London Music Office present Two Showcases at Canadian Music Week 2016

Tourism London in collaboration with the London Music Office is proud to present two artist showcases at Canadian Music Week 2016 in Toronto. A London is On! country artist showcase will take place on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Cadillac Lounge, 1296 Queen Street and a multi-genre London is On! Showcase will take place on Friday, May 6, 2016 at UG3, 365 King St. West. Tickets for the showcase are on sale at for $10.00 in advance. Both showcases are 19+.

Eat & Drink Norfolk showcases the best of Norfolk County

EatDrinkNorfolk16“Eat & Drink Norfolk” was recently held on Thursday, April 7, Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Aud on the Norfolk County Fairgrounds. Held for the 7th year in a row, the three day event saw record crowds of over 4500 fill the Aud. Over 40 vendors from throughout Norfolk County served a wide variety of delectable food, wine, and beer while watching the antics of the Fairly Fat Guys on stage and listening to a number of local favourite musicians including With the Dudes, Maddie Ball, Felicia McMinn, Evan Champagne and Grey Sky. “We are grateful for the support we get from the community for this fundraiser. After seven years, we continue to see people attending for the first time and hear them say they wished they had been coming all along. We also have fans who attend all three days to be sure they sample all that’s available!” stated Special Events Manager Chantal Zorad.


“Eat & Drink Norfolk” was recently named one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals & Events for the second year in a row. “This prestigious provincial recognition is proof that we’re doing all of the right things to provide a memorable experience.” stated Zorad.

Eat & Drink Norfolk – GET A TASTE OF NORFOLK

March 31, 2016 Simcoe – The Norfolk County Agricultural Society is excited to announce that “Eat & Drink Norfolk” is back for its seventh consecutive year. Dates for this year’s event are Thursday, April 7th from 5:00 pm to 10pm

, Friday, April 8h from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and open again on Saturday April 8th from 12 noon until 10:00 pm.


Continuing to ride the wave of success, “Eat & Drink Norfolk” was recently named one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals & Events for the second year in a row. “The community has wholeheartedly supported this event from its very first year. This support along with the dedication of our vendors, staff, volunteers and sponsor partners has resulted in a truly amazing event. Being named one of the Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario is icing on the cake” states Zorad.
