The federal government has just released its new tourism strategy, including a new Canadian Experiences Fund. This fund supports communities across Canada as they create, improve or enhance tourism products, facilities and experiences. Its focus is on investing in new experience development in their 5 core pillars including;
Tourism in rural and remote communities
Winter and shoulder season tourism

This program provides project-based funding to new or existing Ontario events to enhance programs, activities and services and support innovations that will lead to long-term improvements, sustainability and the attraction of additional tourists.

The Tourism Industry Partners Program (TIPP) encourages innovative and results-based initiatives that facilitate increased visitation and expenditures from out-of-province visitors. The objectives of the TIPP program are to fund targeted, innovative programs and marketing tactics that directly generate awareness.
