About this Event
In celebration of Tourism Week, an annual event recognized by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), Ontario's Southwest is hosting an in-person event on April 26th from 12 - 3 pm in The Industrial Theatre Room at 100 Kellogg Lane, London. This is an opportunity to connect with individuals from tourism businesses and organizations in the Ontario's Southwest region and recognize the importance and power of the tourism industry with this year’s theme being, Canada: Powered by Tourism!
A light lunch will be served, followed by a welcome message from the Ontario’s Southwest team, a presentation about tourism trends from Steven Hellman, and networking opportunities.

About the Speaker
Steven Hellmann is the founder of Little Birdie Media and The Foodies Group, award-winning tourism and food events, catering, consulting and promotions companies. Steven is a prominent voice in the food and tourism industries, helping grow food businesses and tourism through innovative events, storytelling, business development strategy, and promotions. In the last 10 years, the Foodies Group and Little Birdie Media Inc. have grown from a tiny seed to a bumper crop. In that time, Steven has put together over 1600 innovative food and tourism experiences and tasted over 2000 restaurants and F&B products, which exploring the world. Steven is entrenched in the food and tourism scenes and knows what drives conversations, sold-out events, and generates attention - and it's not mastering the marketing flavor of the week, but rather connecting with the community and partnering to bring the stories of the passionate people in food and tourism to life.
Steven is seen as an innovator, having been featured internationally in publications and television/radio, including Travel & Leisure, The Food Network, Virgin Atlantic, CBC, Breakfast Television, The Social, Cityline, The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, and Trend Hunter, to name a few. In addition to his extensive work in events and promotions, Steven is also a featured public speaker and expert, covering topics including food, tourism, innovation, and entrepreneurship, for various conferences, organizations, and the media.
