Everything to Know

Initial Assessment

Each business will participate in a kick-off call to meet Terrilyn. Together you will:

  • Clarify expectations

  • Identify business goals, your target market, and perceived challenges

  • Share information to contribute to an initial audit of your business

Visitor Experience Audit: Pre-Visit

Before visiting your establishment, the “pre-trip” portion of the audit will take place to assess the experience of interacting with your business from a prospective visitor’s perspective. This includes:

  • Reviewing your business’s online presence (website, social media, listings)

  • Assessing the clarity, appeal, and functionality of trip planning tools

  • Evaluating the booking ease, storytelling, accessibility of information, and perceived value

  • Analyzing online reviews and user-generated content to understand customer perception

Visitor Experience Audit: In-Person Visit

Terrilyn will visit your business to:

  • Experience your business as a visitor and observe operations in context

  • Interview key team members (as available)

  • Complete a full Market Readiness & Customer Journey Audit to ensure a 360-degree understanding of the business including digital presence, guest experience, inclusivity, accessibility, sustainability, and overall product-market fit

Business Check-In

Following up on the in-person visit and audit, there will be a follow-up conversation. At this point, it might make sense to interview other team members to help fill any gaps.

Market Readiness Assessment & Plan

All findings will be compiled into a clear and actionable Assessment & Readiness Plan which will serve as a practical reference even when the program is done. The plan includes:

  • Strengths, gaps, and priority areas for improvement

  • A tailored list of recommendations and resources

  • A roadmap for implementation

Personalized Coaching

You’ll receive one-on-one coaching sessions, delivered virtually. Coaching sessions focus on:

  • Implementing readiness plan recommendations

  • Addressing specific business development or experience design goals

Follow-Up & Final Reporting

The program will wrap up with:

  • A follow-up session to revisit goals and reflect on progress

  • A final summary report that includes tailored next steps

  • A one-hour check-in three months after the program is over

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • To provide meaningful one-on-one support, the program is limited to a small cohort. A total of three businesses will be included in the program.

  • We want to ensure that businesses who will truly benefit and invest time into the program receive a fair opportunity to participate.

  • The program fee includes:

    • A dedicated kick-off call

    • A “pre-trip” audit

    • An in-person visit to review customer service, visual aesthetics, accessibility, quality of visitor experience, and more.

    • A follow-up conversation after the in-person visit and if deemed relevant, interviews with other team member(s).

    • An Assessment & Readiness Plan

    • Personalized online coaching focused on implementing the Assessment & Readiness Plan

    • A 1 hour check-in call three months after program completion

  • You won’t need to travel to participate in the program. We know how busy your schedule is, so the program will mainly take happen online aside from one in-person visit from Terrilyn, your primary contact, to see your business first hand.

  • The program fee covers all expenses related to the program. The one exception is that if there is a cost for Terrilyn to fully experience your business (e.g., meal, entrance fee, etc.), we ask that you to cover those expenses.

  • We will send you an invoice for the program fee.
