Would you like to model in a paid photo/video shoot in Ontario’s Southwest?

At Ontario’s Southwest (OSW), we believe that visitation to our region should be enjoyed by everyone. We are working towards representing more people in through our visuals with great pride as we wish all ethnicities, ages, sizes, abilities, backgrounds, and lifestyles to see themselves enjoying every corner of our beautiful region in our visual assets.

To do this, we are always looking for models of diverse backgrounds including, but not limited to; BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, people with disabilities, new Canadians, and all other underrepresented peoples.

These will be paid opportunities. We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of all candidates.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This may very slightly, however approximately $30/hour. Payments may be completed via direct deposit or in the form of gift cards depending on the shoot.

  • Shoots will range from half/full-days and will take place within OSW (click here for map).

  • No experience required! Our photographers and videographers will direct you throughout the process.

  • Our photo/video shoots may include skiing, swimming, boating, hiking, camping, and etc. Details about the locations and activities included in the shoots will be communicated via email in advance so that you can choose to which photoshoots you wish to participate in.

    During our photoshoots, our models' safety is of the highest importance. If at any point you feel unsafe, please communicate this with our photographer who will make any changes necessary. You may also call or text Ontario's Southwest's Communications Coordinator, Meg Carman at 519-573-7817.

    If there is anything else we can do to promote safe environment and comfortable experience for you, please let us know when you complete our contact form.

  • Your accessibility needs are important to us! Let's work together to make sure the locations selected, and activities planned during our photoshoots are accessible for you.

    When you fill out our contact form, please let us know what your accessibility needs are so that we can ensure they are met during the photoshoot.

  • Let us know what you have! If there is equipment or outdoor gear that we can supply to make you more comfortable, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

    If possible, please avoid clothing with large logos or brands written on them.

    You will not be required to purchase any new clothing.

  • Thank you! We will be in contact if we require your services.

    While all interest is appreciated, we may not be able to work with everyone who submits their information. Priority will be given to models who are underrepresented in our visual assets.

  • We will keep your information on file indefinitely unless you ask us to remove you.
